Pitch Count Regulations

A new official Little League publication, Protecting Young Pitching Arms: The Little League Pitch Count Regulation Guide for Parents, Coaches, and League Officials, has just been completed.

The entire publication is now available for downloading from the official Little League web site, free of charge, at by clicking here. (856 KB pdf)

The publication includes great information on the best ways to implement the Pitch Count Regulation in your league, as well as tips on the care and conditioning of the pitching arm, sample forms, and much more.

Brighton Baseball General Rules

The "general rules" are meant to apply to all members or participants in Brighton Baseball. Rules that apply to the individual league divisions are found on each league's web page (use the links above to go to your league's page). Each and every coach should read all of these rules, be familiar with them, and realize that each will be held responsible for upholding them. Clean out that closet!

baseball and softball equipmentDo you have any old baseball and/or softball equipment taking up space in your home?

Brighton Baseball is reaching out to communities in need, and making an impact beyond Brighton's borders. We are collecting baseball equipment, including mitts, bats, baseballs, uniforms and cleats in good condition.

We sent a shipment of equipment to Santiago, Dominican Republic, and another to kids participating in the local Rochester Hispanic Youth Baseball organization. The Wolfe newspaper Brighton-Pittsford Post (1/7/04) ran an article on our outreach efforts, and we want to do more.

Please donate your used but-still-useable equipment to Brighton Baseball so that it may be used again by people less fortunate. Please contact Larry Davis at 473-5651 should you have any questions.

Thank you!
